Alexander Zverev will play for a Munich triple crown tomorrow.
The highest-seeded Zverev zapped 9 aces in a 7-6(3), 6-3 sweep of Fabian Marozsan to cost into his third Munich last.
Two-time champion Zverev reached his first Munich last since 2018.
It’s Zverev’s first last since he succumbed to world No. 1 Jannik Sinner within the Australian Open title match in January.
World No. 3 Zverev will play for a twenty fourth profession title and first since successful the Paris Masters final November when he takes on American Ben Shelton within the last.
Earlier, the second-seeded Shelton stopped Francisco Cerundolo 2-6, 7-6(7), 6-4 to achieve his fourth profession ATP Last on the Munich Open.
The 2024 Houston champion Shelton is the primary American man to achieve an ATP clay-court last above the 250 degree since Andre Agassi gained the 2022 Rome championship.
