Sergio Pérez is out from Pink Bull’s Method 1 workforce after a tough season that noticed him end a disappointing eighth within the driver’s standings and leaving Pink Bull third within the constructor standings.

With stories that Liam Lawson will step up and take over the second spot, that ends hypothesis about who will race alongside defending champion Max Verstappen.

Talking of Verstappen, he did one thing elegant for Pérez, sending a candy message with the information breaking on Wednesday: “It’s been an absolute pleasure driving alongside you. We’ve had some wonderful moments collectively that I’ll at all times bear in mind. Thanks, Checo!”
