Gamers wanted to say their collective voice and the PTPA lawsuit ensures it is going to be heard, says Nick Kyrgios.
Led by Novak Djokovic, funding banker Invoice Ackman and Canadian Vasek Pospisil, the PTPA filed a lawsuit within the New York Federal Court docket and the UK and European Union on Tuesday.

The lawsuit claims that the ATP, WTA, and Worldwide Tennis Federation (ITF) are actively engaged in corrupt enterprise practices that restrict gamers’ potential to earn cash and limit their skilled lives.
Chatting with Sky Sports, Kyrgios referred to as the lawsuit submitting a landmark day for gamers.
“I felt folks knew one thing was happening behind the scenes for a very long time,” Kyrgios advised Sky Sports. “We needed to do one thing like this for the way forward for tennis.
“I do know the gamers and myself aren’t pleased with the constructions and every part that is occurring in tennis for the time being.”
Former Wimbledon finalist Kyrgios mentioned gamers have been calling for change and have now taken motion to realize it.
