Cup Collection debutante Connor Zilisch had a wild day in his debut. The 18-year-old began 14th, shortly dropped again with contact within the first lap, however fought again to the highest 15 by the beginning of the third stage.
However that is when his day ended. Zilisch could not keep away from a spin by Trackhouse Racing teammate Daniel Suarez and smashed into the wall in lap 50 and his automotive caught fireplace.
